Jackson is 10!

Jackson turned 10 on September 8! I honestly can't believe that 10 years ago Jason was in his 2nd year of law school and we were living in Columbia, SC. We were so scared those first weeks home with Jackson. He was such a fussy baby and we had absolutely no clue what we were doing. Jackson loves hearing stories about when he was little. He thinks it is funny when we tell him that he was definitely our hardest baby. He has redeemed himself ten times over. Jackson is growing up so much lately. He is leaving the little boy stage far behind. He is still pretty naive to a lot of things, which I am so glad for, but man he is full of questions! Jackson is 100% committed to everything he does. Sometimes it drives me crazy, but I know it is a quality to admire. He is obedient and kind. He is a definite rule follower, and gets frustrated with kids that are not. This can sometimes be really hard since he shares a room with one of the worst offenders! Jackson is crazy about sports. He loves everything about them. He keeps up with every team in every sport. He is passionate. He feels things deeply and has the biggest heart. Jason and I thank our Heavenly Father every day for this boy. He is the best big brother, friend, and son. He is going to do great things and we can't wait to see it.

Jackson took his two best friends to Boondocks for the day. Jason said that he had never seen a happier, more excited group of boys. They had the best time, and it was impossible to get them to leave! They loved spending time with each other without their little brothers and sisters tagging along!
