Sometimes being a mom is hard. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and frustrated, but tonight being a mom was awesome. Both Jackson and Emerson had performances tonight, and I loved every minute of it. Emerson got up in front of hundreds of people and sang and danced her heart out. Something that would have been so hard for me to do. She never gets nervous, and I love that about her. I love her confidence. I love that she can do anything she wants to do.
Jackson started back with piano after taking a year break. He played two songs. One which was really hard for him. He practiced so hard for this night and he nailed it. I loved seeing how happy and proud of himself he was. He is always amazing us.
The videographer got a little distracted, but Jackson is still pretty great!
